If my memory serves me right, Asia was internationally defined as the Orient, which refers to only a few nations, primarily China, Japan, and Korea, and its people are called Oriental, which is now considered almost derogatory by many Chinese, Japanese, or Koreans, especially those who grew up in the West. India is a very old culture, and therefore, while they're logically part of Asia, they're primarily known as Indians. The reason why Asia is the biggest continent, is because they combined all East, South, and Southeast Asian groups of countries. The Americas are composed of North and South, and while those from South American countries, or even Canadians are technically Americans, but because there's an actual country called America and its people Americans, it's always important to make that distinction when making a reference so not to confuse it with USA. Many people in my culture, the Philippines prefer to be called Pacific Islanders, similar to Hawaiians, or other island countries, or territories in the Pacific Ocean. But at the same time, because it's considered a melting pot nation in Asia, the country is called the Pearl of the Orient, so it's still very Asian, but at the same time, it's not so Oriental, so I completely understand why many Indians prefer to be called Indians, than Asians.

Yet, for Koreans outside of Korea, like in Texas, you'll see a man or woman or together with two or more children.

As a Filipino, I completely agree with everything they're saying. They're culturally so different from each other. South Korea is a highly developed nation, and they have less poverty than the Philippines, and even their poor don't live as poor like the poor in the Philippines, or other poorer countries, or continents. Filipino culture is so laid back, while South Korea, as mentioned in the video, is a fast-paced country just like most western nations. It's important that the world sees both sides of a nation; their best and worst cultural or collective qualities instead of masking it by carefully choosing what's shown in the media, and by acknowledging the issue, it gets a bit easier resolving it. But I must also add that not all Southeast Asian countries are developing nations, because Singapore is also in Southeast Asia, and is one of the richest in the world.

That's not the movie I want Japanese people to watch. I want them to watch well sourced documentaries on what the Japanese did in South East Asian citizens (especially to the women), to POWs, to the Chinese. I find interesting how they say they actually think of littering. Argentina is a really dirty place but I wouldn't litter anyways even if I'm totally alone or with people around so I don't feel that they are completely in favour of not littering but just restraining themselves not to because of how they would be seen in society. Some things are hard to listen tbh. Is Nato spreading East OR are nearly all ex-USSR countries applying themselves to join West because they don't want to live under russian autocracy anymore and want to be free to think, to speak, to travel, to build companies, etc. ? Looks more like Eastern are joining EU, that's not like if EU was fighting all these countries like Russia to get Ukraine back... Of course, it's easier for Kremlin to say EU/Nato is "spreading" and ignore Ukraine, Georgia, Estonia, Lettonia, Lituania's will but the truth is that they actually made their very own choice to apply to EU and NATO. Noone has forced them BUT Russia tries to force them no to join, exactly what happens now in Georgia... Even with top level corruption and russian propaganda, simple People of Georgia are now in the streets because they reject the new "Russian law" and want to join EU freely... So Putin, the guy you cannot trust at all and who is lying about just everything (just look at its last tax declaration to see the pure joke it is), is trying to "flirt" with China to avoid being left alone and because he needs to sell ressources and needs its market more than ever. I really hope China sees him as an economical partner but in no way as an ally against the rest of the world... Only Russia and USA are always wanting war, not EU... But the truth is that EU/NATO don't see China as ennemy at all... we see China only as economic rivals and that's a good thing, forces us to be better and more competitive. We don't see China as ennemies and i do have much respect for China and Chinese. They work hard, are smart and most can read between the lines of propaganda coming from all sides of the conflicts... and can stand against USA without guns which is the true power !
